Seane Corn Teacher Training & Chakra Weekend Workshop

October 8, 2012

Seane Corn will be in Chicago at Moksha Yoga Center conducting a series of events.

Yoga Teacher Training – Monday, October 8, 2012 – Friday, October 12, 2012
“In this special teacher’s training, learn the fundamental principals of Vinyasa Flow Yoga (linking movement with breath) and how to teach this popular form of yoga in a responsible, creative and heart-centered way.  This training explores the three realms of consciousness-physical/mental, energetic/emotional and psychic/symbolic- and how to utilize these principles in your personal practice, as well as the classroom.  Understanding these three ‘realms’ can ultimately enrich our practice, provide depth and awareness, and offer an uplifting and inspirational environment for healing and inner-investigation.  Applying these tools to a classroom can help us to: teach asana more clearly and intelligently, maintain an organized and well-paced Vinyasa sequence, use Spiritual themes to facilitate an environment for insight, as well as, guide our students to reach beyond the body and into the heart through intention, reflection and prayer.”

Chakra Flow Workshop – Friday, October 12, 2012 – Sunday, October 14, 2012
“The study of the chakras can help us develop our intuition, awareness and consciousness (Mind). It can balance us physically, plus ground and center our energy (Body). It can also increase our personal power and relationship to the Sacred, seeing our lives symbolically. This in turn gives a more compassionate understanding towards our personal issues and can reveal mystical insight into our Dharma (Spirit).”
