Yoga benefits: #1 Flexibility

How to Meditate at Work

Mainly everybody associates yoga with flexibility. It is one of the most sought after benefits when practicing yoga but, on the other hand, it is also one of the reasons why a lot of people stay away from it…”I am not flexible enough!” Anyone?

The great thing about yoga is that every single person can benefit from it. You just have to find the right type for you. So no matter if you are a beginner or not, you will be able to increase your flexibility after spending a couple of classes on the mat.

It works like this: the physical yoga poses, “asanas”, work by stretching the muscles. These stretches help to release lactic acids that cause stiffness, tension and pain.
This is a great effect that yoga has to offer you, but not the only one.
