“The popular mid-summer Chicago event will again be a celebration of all things French as well as that country’s Bastille Day national holiday (officially July 14). In 2012 the run/walk celebrates its 31st anniversary as well as its new home in Lincoln Park which, until 2010, had been in the West Loop.
Following the run/walk, participants will be treated to a free block party with food, refreshments and entertainment at the nearby Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Proceeds will again benefit Chicago’s Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.”
