“How are you fueling?” workshop with Tiffany Leefers. Only $5!
“Too often we sacrifice eating well, sleeping, socializing, play and self-expression to external demands on our time and energy. Too often we underestimate the profound effects this can have on our emotional and physical health. Current research is again and again showing the profound health effects of food, stress, and sleep: everything from anemia, arthritis, muscle and joint pain, bladder and urinary tract infections, bone loss, candida and yeast infections, constipation, depression, digestive distress, eating disorders, fibromyalgia, fibroids, hypoglycemia, immune system disorders, menstrual problems, mood swings, obesity, PMS, etc. can have roots in how you treat your body.
Taking time to think about what we put into our bodies can be a powerful and simple way to care for ourselves and avoid these health risks, transforming the kitchen into a place of empowerment and joy rather than helplessness and stress.
The “How are you fueling?” workshop will first examine how diet can affect both our physical and emotional health and will then offer practical guidelines to make healthier choices in the kitchen in order to feel better, sleep better, and maximize the return on all the sweat and hard work at Sixpax!”
